An executive with deep and wide experience in performance and brand marketing, strategic communications, issues management, business development and general management, Amerge principal Camela Morrissey is also certified in healthcare strategic planning.
Camela improves marketing performance and brand strategy outcomes to drive business results. She has served as a senior leader in major hospital systems as well as in national and global marketing and communication advisory firms. As such, she has had the good fortune to contribute to sea changes in the business and technology of healthcare, including the rise in consumerism, competition and digital connectivity. This experience has been forged in complex situations and evolving environments – and quickly translates to other regulated and sensitive industries – as well as organizations of any size.
As the principal of Amerge, she works closely with motivated clients small and large, partners and colleagues to remove barriers to growth, lift performance and deliver meaningful business results including engagement, volume and revenue.
Camela is available for board directorships and advisory panels as well as speaking engagements.

Our Mascot
Every high service strategy firm needs a mascot and of course Amerge is no exception. Meet Chester Cane, our golden boy. Chester and Camela are a certified canine therapy team and volunteer to provide pet therapy through The Good Dog Foundation, where Camela is a board director emeritus and board consultant. He is always happy to attend a meeting (live or remote) which will make any discussion even better!
